Lead developer for our Ruby applications: you will be responsible for leading the development of our server-side applications.

Main Tasks:

  • Implementing features together with our Product team
  • Maintaining and grooming our existing code base
  • Manage our technology stack
  • Driving our agile approaches and shorten lead times
  • Maintain and improve our technical stack for platforms in Germany and the US
  • Teach and learn with the team

Skills:

  • When you hear of ideas, you think of solutions
  • You know Ruby and RoR inside out
  • You have SOLID oop
  • You are a responsible pragmatist: you enjoy finding incremental solutions for current requirements while keeping the big picture in mind
  • You are an expert craftsman in being able to create both great code and business value at the same time
  • You are comfortable with full-stack work tasks
  • You are a powerful Git user
  • You are familiar with relational(postgresql) and NoSQL(redis) databases
  • You are passionate about automation on every possible level
  • You know how to run applications on production level (monitoring, logging, profiling etc.) in the clouds and on the ground
  • You have experience integrating QA into the team workflow
  • You are always curious to learn something new and to contribute your knowledge to the team
