For our Client we are currently looking employee for position:
Ruby Developer
Place of work: Kraków
Required Qualifications:
• Ruby – 2-5+ years of Ruby and web application development (with recent relevant experience using Rails 3)
• Database – Knowledgeable in MySQL and SQL query language (ability to write and optimize SQL queries)
• Front End – 2-5+ years of experience with modern web protocols and markup languages (CSS, Javascript, Jquery, HTML, AJAX, etc) and Cross-browser
Compatibility Experience.
• Systems Administration – Though our server and storage needs are outsourced (and you will have access to their support staff 24/7), this position does require basic Linux server admin skills.
• Speak fluent English
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience designing and building consumer web applications with particular attention to scalability and high performance
• Agile software development methodology
• Test driven development experience
Bonus Points:
• Google AdWords knowledge
• Experience with Nginx/Passenger, Varnish, REE, CDN
• HTML 5 knowledge
