We are an Agile development team using Ruby on Rails to craft great web apps, other apps and all sorts of Ruby-driven stuff. We work with startups and grown-up companies. Read on to learn who we are looking for.
Responsibilities:
- Programming web apps backend (you guessed it, right?)
- Designing app’s architecture
Requirements:
- have at least 1y (more is a big +) experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails (although we believe you need 6-8 years of exp to be truly senior)
- acquainted yourself with RDBMSes (PostgreSQL mostly) and noSQLs
- basics of JavaScript
- can communicate in English with team and customers (at least B2)
- good coding habits: good naming, testable functions, readable code
- being collaborative: listen to, learn from, and teach other team members
Nice to have:
- knowledge of some modern JavaScript frameworks (frontend - Vue/React/Angular/Ember)
- love TDD, BDD, DDD and other sexy abbreviations
- worked in Agile environment
- some experience with devops work (Docker, CI & CD tools)
