OSBeehives is an American early-stage startup on a mission to technify the beekeeping industry by building a global network of beekeepers and identifying causes and solutions for colony health deterioration. This mission is founded on the principles of citizen science, open data, and collaboration between beekeepers.
We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to be part of our team. The ideal candidate is a skilled and motivated developer with industry experience wanting to take part in a new and exciting project with a meaningful mission.
You will work 100% remotely within our teams in Poland and the US, creating innovative mobile and web applications to help our users from all over the world. You will collaborate closely with our Product Designer to make sure we adhere to our design standards and to provide the best possible user experience. You will also work with our Data Science team to present our unique data in an adequate way, creating interactive visualizations that are both useful and engaging.
Key Qualifications:
-Excellent English communication skills.
-Mission-aligned.
-Front end: Proficient in Javascript, HTML, and CSS.
-Front end: Experienced with React.js and React Native.
-Back end: Experience creating APIs with Ruby on Rails or Python (Django / Flask / CherryPy).
-Being familiar with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Elasticsearch is not required, but it is a plus.
