[Remote/Denmark] Support Engineer / Ruby on Rails Developer [3000+ EUR/B2B]

 We’re AutoInnovation from Denmark and we’re looking for a Technical Support Engineer with Ruby on Rails knowledge to join our development team and help us provide technical support to our customers and further develop our product - TjeKvik.

The average work week would consist of a mix of providing technical support and participating with feature development in our project.

Responsibilities

  • First line of support for technical questions from our partners and customers. (eg help answer API/integration related questions)

  • Help with writing technical documentation (eg API descriptions / instructions)

  • Handle any issues with our platform during the day (eg various bugs we might notice)

  • Improve our development tool (eg Rails version upgrades)

  • Rest of the time, participate in sprints and help further the development of TjeKvik

Expectations

  • Great spoken and written English

  • Solid (3+ years) programming experience in Ruby/Rails

  • Be available during critical business hours for our customers across Europe (07:00 - 10:00 CET)

We rarely see any issues during this period, we just want to offer a piece of mind.

The product

TjeKvik is a terminal for the car industry - similar to a self check in terminal at an airport.

The terminal reduces stress for car mechanics by streamlining their process for handling appointments and provides a better user experience for customers by giving them an option to handle their car repairs through the terminal.

What we offer

  • Be part of a remotely distributed team

  • We get together twice a year in Denmark or Poland

  • We pay for public holidays

  • We don’t offer vacation yet, but that’s coming later
