We (GetPRO) are looking for RoR Developer, who will help bring the internal and customer facing systems to the next level and support developing functionality of the system. A perfect candidate is open minded, creative ready for challenges and full of ideas, which would like to share and implement.
Our client is a bespoke manufacturing company employing circa 150 people. Supplier of other businesses and a producer of door and panels which also processes glass. Company manufactures its products focusing on quality, a craft and security testing. Composition of tradition with the latest innovation - creation of an unique design with over 10 years of manufacturing guarantee.
Salary: 4 100 – 5 000 EUR net CoE (Irish) or B2B
Job location: onsite in Limerick Co., Ireland or REMOTELY

Requirements
- +2 years of commercial experience of working with RoR technology
- Knowledge of the full web stack (including CSS, REST)
- Knowledge of OOP techniques and best practices for code reuse and testing
- Experience in JavaScript (Prototype.js/JavaScript)
- Experience with distributed version control systems (e.g. Git)
- Experience of TDD
- Experience of RDBMS such as MySQL/PostgreSQL/MS SQL
- Comfortable on the Linux/Unix command line
- Proficiency in English language
Main Tasks
- Maintain the existing systems already developed
- Improve systems and processes and develop internal system tailored to new products of company (80% of creative work 20% maintenance)
- Working in co-operation with IT team of 3 people
- Entile a lot of software development - be up for challenge
