We an Asia Pacific based e-commerce startup changing the way users buy and sell online within China and the Asia region. We want to connect sellers outside of China directly with buyers inside of China, it’s a very complex task to tackle! It will challenge the best of all the team. We are looking for a full stack RoR developer to join our team full time. You will be a fun, easy going and self driven individual.
We’re looking for:
2-3+ Years experience developing Ruby on Rails applications in a professional setting
clearly understand database frameworks, MySQL, MongoDB
know javascript - JQuery
Excellent in CSS
Excellent in HTML
Fluent English both written and spoken
We would love it if you:
Have experience with Node.js
Have used Python
Love being Agile
Knew a little Mandarin?! 你好！
You’re the tech lead for the development side. You will be in charge of:
Developing Ruby/Rails apps
Designing technical architecture
Implementing development best practises
Making technical decisions and guidelines for product direction
Hiring other developers to join the team
Conversing with other team members to make sure everything is working properly
