As a Senior Back End Developer you will find yourself working so closely with our Flash and Front end HTML5 teams that you will be able to smell their very essences. You will be a mighty totem for our back end team, advising on approaches, writing server and technical specs and leading projects with your absurd but hypnotic gyrations. Naturally you will keep up to date with hemorrhaging edge trends online and surf ‘n’ share only the best quality animated cat gifs.
For you everyday you breath in deeply the scent of the backend. You plan in fastidious detail and know all the best how-to tutorials sites allowing you to create consistent and mind scraping experiences across the scattered „Come on, make your mind up!” landscape that is the modern desktop and mobile web. You’ll be responsiblefor the research and development of rock hard and secure systems that serve up the delicious content love to our fluffy, gooey front ends and make us all look like total pros to boot.

Requirements in professional looking bullet form:
-5+ years agency experience digging deep into the backend.
-In+depth experience with Ruby on Rails (and or PHP), MySQL, TheirSQL, XML and database driven content.
-Experience setting up complex servers and environments.
-Experience developing systems that scale to large spikes in traffic for when we accidentlally go viral.
-Experience working on a variety of complex hosting setups.
-Creating of API’s for Flash/Javascript frontends.
-Extensive knowledge working with 3rd part API’s.
-HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JQuery development in *AMP environments.
-Experience working with rapid development frameworks (CakePHP primarily, Zend, Syphmony, Ruby on Rails, etc)
-Experience implementing standards based websites built for accessibility, SEO and interactivity.
-Exceptional understanding of and practice using Object Oriented Coding principles.
-Educating in computer science development and OOP patterns is a huge asset.
-Methodical planning of your approach to the complex problems of high end experience development.
-Flexibility to juggle multiple projects while being able to solve problems independently, adapt to quickly changing priotities, maintain a high-level of work under pressure, and deliver on required timelines.
