Specialists employed in this position will be responsible for:
Predevelopment technology research
Implementation of software based on proven concepts and test metodologies
Preliminary functional tests of developed code
Cooperation at project scheduling and software architecture
Simultaneous documentation of R&D results
Projects challenges include:
Planning and developing automated test tools on various levels of application (unit tests, integration test, performance tests, etc.)
Developing and maintaining support tools
Assuring continuous integration of the application code

Remuneration 4100 - 6500 PLN (brutto) plus annual bonus dependent on achievements

Description of profile:
Proven or academic skills in Ruby (or other similar languages, like Python, Perl, PHP, etc.)
Knowledge of Ruby on Rails and MVC architectural pattern
Knowledge of testing frameworks like Rspec, TestUnit, Selenium
Experience in Linux/UNIX systems on user level
Smooth communication in English both orally and in writing, including the ability to read and create technical documentation
Independence in performing tasks
Technical education (computer science, automatics, robotics, electronics …) and/or the willingness of self development in the IT industry
Nice to have:
Experience in direct work with customers at the R&D level
Experience in using continuous integration tools (Hudson/Jenkins CI, Gerrit)
Documented experience in server-side Web development
Experience in working with Version Control Systems (preferably GIT)
Knowledge of Web development tools (Firebug, Web Developer Tools, W3C validation)
Knowledge of JavaScript, CSS and HTML, W3C standards
Academic experience in C and/or C++ programming
