[wroclaw] Advanced Programmer required

Hello,

Sorry for this message being in English but my Polish is very basic.

Openads is a UK-based firm looking to expand their office in Poland. They currently have workers in an office based in Wrocław.
Their software is used by over 20,000 websites and requires advanced knowledge in Object-oriented programming.

Requirements:

  • 3+ Years application development in a professional environment
  • Knowledge of relational databases and MySQL
  • Experience with object oriented analysis, fluent in design patterns, refactoring and unit testing
  • Managing a shared codebase. SVN/trac experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of developing and running under UNIX / Linux preferred
  • Comfortable communicating in English

We are looking for advanced programmers with Professional experience. We have high standards and therefore will pay you well for your skills.

The main work is in PHP but Java/Ruby/… experience is accepted.

You must be able to work in our office in Wrocław.

Funny you should post a job offer for PHP and write that Ruby experience is accepted :] It really means that you accept that somebody has been developing in Ruby but should switch to this wonderful language called PHP, right?
Somehow PHP and Object-orientation don’t go well together in my opinion. There’s really no comparison to Ruby in this
field. Anyway, good luck and all the best!
